I was lucky in that three friends gave me bags and bags of them.
I could only walk and swim and some yoga after my first trimester (I'm usually a marathoner/triathlete). For walking and yoga, I could just wear sweats, no special things. I swim pretty competitively but there's no decent swimwear to swim 3000m in for pregnant women (new business idea anyone?). So after my old swimsuits stretched beyond decency/modesty, I purchased a two piece training suit and covered up with my stretched out swimsuit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36482823.post-547726239274451062008-08-19T04:34:00.000+10:002008-08-19T04:34:00.000+10:00What did you do with your maternity clothes follow...What did you do with your maternity clothes following your pregnancy? I still wear some of it. Some of the tops were pretty stretchy and don't look like maternity tops unless you are pregnant. Or else I'm fooling myself.

Did you keep them? Most of it. The pricier things for sure.

Pass them on to a friend? If I had a friend with boobs as big as mine, I would certainly share my clothes. Alas, I do not.

Or throw them away? Never. Donate maybe.

If you got rid of your maternity gear, why? Some of it just wasn't quality enough to keep.

If you worked out during your pregnancy, what did you wear? T-shirts and yoga pants

Did you buy workout gear specifically for pregnancy? Nope.

Where did you buy it? n/a

Did you have trouble finding clothing? Yes - because of bust size.Marty, a.k.a. canapehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15061361665908074413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36482823.post-18917030229937953422008-08-17T21:28:00.000+10:002008-08-17T21:28:00.000+10:00What did you do with your maternity clothes follow...What did you do with your maternity clothes following your pregnancy?

I have photographed them to sell on Ebay, but have not got around to it yet.

If you got rid of your maternity gear, why?

I won't need it anymore, as we are not planning on having any more babies.

Also, I'm writing this thing about maternity fitness clothing...

If you worked out during your pregnancy, what did you wear?

N/A to me!

Sorry -- boring answers, but you asked. :-)Cherryskinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09750062080407606569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36482823.post-54712774723094612122008-08-17T20:35:00.000+10:002008-08-17T20:35:00.000+10:00What did you do with your maternity clothes follow...What did you do with your maternity clothes following your pregnancy?
i've kept them because i plan to have another baby

Did you keep them?

Pass them on to a friend?

if my little sister falls pregnant before i do again i'd lend them to her

Or throw them away?

If you got rid of your maternity gear, why?

Also, I'm writing this thing about maternity fitness clothing...

If you worked out during your pregnancy, what did you wear?
usually a maternity t-shirt (often belly belly), or just supre singlets (i found them longer than most singlets, including maternity tops which have a habit of being short at the back) and just normal grey jogging shorts, yoga pants, or bonds track suits pants.

Did you buy workout gear specifically for pregnancy? Where did you buy it? Did you have trouble finding clothing?

i almost bought work out gear a few times, tempted in m2b in church st richmond but i usually reminded myself there was nothing wrong with what i was wearing and no real need.

oh the only thing i did buy specifically for exercise was a berlei maternity sports bra, and i still wear it.

plus i also bought pregnancy pilates, pregii bellies, pregnancy yoga dvds etc and realised pretty quickly not necessary and was fine to do my normal work outs, i gave all the dvds away because i never used them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36482823.post-31465349918091706232008-08-17T12:27:00.000+10:002008-08-17T12:27:00.000+10:00I'm keeping my maternity clothing. I plan to have...I'm keeping my maternity clothing. I plan to have another baby. A few more not really interesting points: 1) I bought a huge lot of it on eBay (like 17 articles for $35 or so). 2) I bought lots of new maternity tops I knew would double as nursing tops, so essentially, I'm still wearing lots of maternity tops nearly 5 months after birth. 3) After I'm done having babies, I plan to sell the whole lot on eBay.

I did work out during the first two trimesters. I did not buy maternity workout clothes. I wore my pre-pregnancy workout pants (all stretchy) and I bought very inexpensive extra-large tops to accommodate my belly. I also had to buy a few new sports bras in a larger size.

I'd like more details about your writing on this. Is there some sort of trend your examining?Academia Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13068095679300141667noreply@blogger.com
